At Wheeler Wagyu, we raise premium American Wagyu and provide a true “ranch to table” experience for our clients. We are a family-owned and -operated ranch with over four generations of ranching history. With our lifelong passion for ranching, we strive to raise exceptional tasting, clean quality beef in a stress-free environment.

Our story began over 100 years ago when my great grandfather, Clifton Wheeler, started our family legacy of ranching. Over many continuous years of raising commercial cattle and white-tailed deer, my grandfather, Clifton Wheeler Jr. (Bub), and my father, Lee Wheeler, have instilled in me the values of ranching and being a true steward of the land. 

As the fourth generation of my family’s ranching history, I, Hunter Wheeler, have worked alongside my dad to change our program from commercial-breed cattle to American Wagyu (Akaushi). Throughout this process, I’ve discovered that the Wheeler Wagyu values are a culmination and reflection of my life experiences:

• Our company’s commitment to raising a healthy, quality beef in a stress-free environment comes from the years of learning from the generations before me.
• Our company’s values of transparency and honesty come from the values that were instilled in me throughout my upbringing and at Texas A&M University (Class of 19’).
• Our company’s obsession with the quality of product we send to our clients comes from my time at The Culinary Institute of America (Class of 21’) and my appreciation for premium-quality food.

At Wheeler Wagyu, we are a grass-fed and grain-finished business to ensure the highest quality flavor, marbling and tenderness. All of our products are hormone-free, additive-free, preservative-free, and antibiotic-free. You are truly receiving a clean quality beef straight from our ranch to your kitchen table.
